Step 1: Access System Settings
Log into Luminous.
In the bottom-left corner, click your name to open the System Settings menu.
Select App Integration Account Settings.
Step 2: Create a New App Account
Click New App Account in the top-right corner.
Set the App Type to your 3PL's WMS (e.g., Track Star).
Name the integration (e.g., Ship Hero - 3PL).
Step 3: Configure Settings
Choose the Inventory Quantity Type:
On Hand Inventory: Recommended as it includes pending numbers.
Sellable Inventory: Optional, depending on your needs.
Toggle other options as needed:
Pull Fulfilled Orders Only: Leave this unchecked unless specifically required.
Enable Get Products and Show Inventory Locations to verify inventory synchronization.
Click Connect WMS and then Continue.
Step 4: Authenticate and Connect the WMS
A list of available WMS integrations will appear. Find and select your 3PL's WMS (e.g., Ship Hero).
Authenticate the connection:
For Ship Hero: Enter the username and password provided by your 3PL.
For other systems (e.g., AMS): Use the credentials or API details supplied by your 3PL.
Complete the authentication process.
Step 5: Verify Inventory Sync
Once connected, ensure inventory is pulling correctly:
Go to Locations in Luminous.
Select Warehouse Groups and create a new group for your 3PL.
Configure the warehouse group:
Name the group appropriately (e.g., 3PL Warehouse - Ship Hero).
Toggle Externally Managed.
Assign the connected 3PL account (e.g., Ship Hero).
Step 6: Start Inventory Flow
Once the setup is complete, inventory data from the 3PL will begin flowing into Luminous. Verify by checking:
Inventory levels under Products.
Locations and stock within the Warehouse Groups section.
By following these steps, your 3PL’s WMS will be seamlessly integrated with Luminous, ensuring efficient inventory and sales order management.
