Amazon AWD (Amazon Warehousing & Distribution) can be connected through your existing Amazon FBA integration in Luminous. Follow the steps below to configure AWD so Luminous can pull inventory and shipments from your AWD facility.
1. Go to System Settings
From the left-hand navigation, go to System Settings → App Integration Accounts.
2. Open Your Existing Amazon FBA Integration
AWD uses the same Amazon credentials already connected for FBA.
Search for your Amazon FBA integration and click Edit.
Note:
If you have not yet connected Amazon to Luminous, please follow our “Amazon FBA Integration Setup” guide first. You must complete the FBA setup before configuring AWD.
3. Test Your Amazon Credentials
Inside the Amazon FBA integration:
Confirm the App Type is
trackstarEnsure your Access Token is entered
Click Test Credentials
You should see Success: Credentials are valid.
If your credentials aren’t valid, fix this before continuing — AWD will not sync until the base Amazon integration is working.
4. Create a Warehouse Named “AWD”
Next, go to Inventory → Locations.
You will need to create a dedicated warehouse for AWD:
Click New Warehouse
Name the warehouse AWD
Inside the AWD warehouse, make sure at least one location/bin exists (e.g., “Shipping”)
5. Create the AWD Warehouse Group
Go to Inventory → Warehouse Groups and click New Warehouse Group.
Configure it as follows:
Label: AWD
Warehouse: select AWD
Default Picking Warehouse: also select AWD
This ensures that all AWD-related inventory and shipments are handled inside this warehouse group.
6. Configure AWD Integration Settings
Within the Warehouse Group settings, scroll to the Integration section.
Set:
App Integration Account: choose your Amazon FBA integration
External Warehouse: select AWD
Also toggle:
Pull Stocks → ON
Pull Shipments → ON
These settings allow Luminous to sync AWD inventory levels and inbound/outbound shipments.
Optional Settings
You most likely do not need to configure any of the settings around PO's, Shipments, TO's.
7. Save Your Settings
Click Submit.
Your AWD warehouse is now connected, and Luminous will begin pulling inventory and shipment data during your normal sync cycles.
You're All Set
You’ve successfully configured AWD inside Luminous. Inventory, inbound shipments, and outbound shipments from your Amazon AWD location will now sync into Luminous automatically.
