Overview
When a Sales Rep is removed, deleted, or updated in the system, accounts previously assigned to that rep may no longer appear in filters or exports under that rep’s name.
This article explains how Sales Rep data behaves in the CRM and what to expect when exporting accounts.
If a duplicate Sales Rep account is removed (for example, a second profile for “Test”), the system no longer recognizes that deleted user as an active Sales Rep.
As a result:
The removed rep will not appear in the Sales Rep filter dropdown
Accounts assigned to that removed rep cannot be sorted by their name
CRM exports only reflect active Sales Reps in the system
Some accounts may appear with a blank Sales Rep field
This is expected behavior when a Sales Rep record has been deleted.
Viewing Accounts in the CRM
Navigate to CRM
Locate the Sales Rep column
Use the Sales Rep filter dropdown
Note:
Only active Sales Reps will appear in the filter.
Removed or deleted reps will not be selectable.
Accounts previously assigned to a removed rep may display as blank.
Exporting Accounts
Go to the CRM page
Apply any necessary filters
Click Export
Keep in mind:
The export includes the Sales Rep column.
Only active Sales Reps will appear as filterable values.
Accounts tied to removed reps may not be sortable by that rep’s name.
