Overview
This knowledge base explains why Amazon FBA orders may incorrectly attempt to push fulfilment orders from Luminous to a fulfilment source and how to resolve the issue.
This behaviour typically occurs when the channel auto-generation trigger is not properly configured, even though Amazon FBA is designed to be an end-to-end fulfilment channel that should not push orders to another fulfilment destination.
Root Cause
The issue occurs when:
Channel Override for Auto-Generation Trigger is not enabled
The Auto-Generation Trigger is not set to
manual
Without this configuration, the system may fall back to global defaults that attempt to auto-push fulfilment orders. We should not be pushing order for FBA when FBA does the fulfilment themselves.
(Step-by-Step)
Step 1: Open the Channel Settings
Go to Manage - Channel Settings
Navigate to your Amazon FBA channel in Luminous
Step 2: Enable Channel Override
Scroll down to Auto-Fulfilment section and Locate Enable Channel Override for Auto-Generation Trigger
Toggle the setting ON
Step 3: Set Auto-Generation Trigger to Manual
Find the Auto-Generation Trigger dropdown
Select
manualSave the changes
This ensures fulfilment orders are not automatically generated or pushed.
