When importing Master SKUs using Excel, you need to provide product weights and dimensions in a specific, easy-to-follow format. Here's exactly how to fill in these details:

Weights

Weights can be entered in ounces (oz) or pounds (lbs). Here are the column names and how to fill them out:

Columns:

  • Product Weight

  • Shipping Weight

  • Box Weight

  • Carton Weight

  • Pallet Weight

How to Enter Weights:

You have two simple ways to enter weights:

  • Default (Ounces): Just enter a number. The system will assume it's in ounces.

    • Example: Enter 16 for 16 ounces.

  • Specify Unit: Enter the number followed directly by the unit (oz or lbs) with no space.

    • Examples:

      • 16oz (16 ounces)

      • 1lbs (1 pound)

      • 1.5lbs (1.5 pounds)

Tip: Only enter one weight value per field to ensure accurate data.

Dimensions

Dimensions should always be entered in inches, using the format LengthxWidthxHeight.

Columns:

  • Product Dimension

  • Shipping Dimension

  • Box Dimension

  • Carton Dimension

  • Pallet Dimension

How to Enter Dimensions:

  • Enter dimensions separated by the lowercase letter x.

  • Dimensions can be whole numbers or decimals.

Examples:

  • 10x12x8 (10 inches long, 12 inches wide, 8 inches high)

  • 10.5x12.2x8.0 (10.5 inches long, 12.2 inches wide, 8 inches high)

That's all you need to do! Follow these simple formats, and your Master SKU import will work smoothly.
