What?

A Pick List is a list of items from a single or multiple sales orders that are needed to be retrieved by a 'picker' (duty of a warehouse worker). This is done prior to the packing & shipping process.

Why?

Utilizing pick lists is one of the best ways to ensure that inventory numbers are accurate for specific SKU's and locations. It minimizes the errors that can be made when using a perpetual inventory management system.

How?

  1. Shipping -> Sales Orders

2. Select one or multiple sales orders, select "Create Picklist"

3. Select "Pick" when items are retrieved

4. Indicate quantity of products received and location received from.

Note - Indication of Lot is only applicable if utilizing lot tracking (a method to track products with expiration timelines)

Note - If selecting "split", another line will appear to pick the remaining quantity of the SKU

5. Click "Done" and Select "Ship"

Note - If pick and pack is toggled on in settings, selecting "Ship" will deduct inventory

Note - If you would like to reset the specific items picked: Done -> Reset

Picklist will now appear in the picklist tab under "Shipping"
