New Forecasting Report Module

Overview

The Forecasting Report has been moved into a new, standalone module within Luminous to improve performance and scalability. This updated report loads significantly faster because it now rebuilds overnight, ensuring data is refreshed daily without slowing down user access.

⚠️ Note: As of now, this feature is only enabled for certain customers. Other accounts will be considered during phased rollout.


What's New

✅ Faster Load Times

  • Forecasting data is rebuilt once nightly

  • Users experience instant report loading compared to the previous version

✅ Modular Location

  • Now found under: Reports > Forecasting

  • Clean, dedicated layout for SKU-level forecasting insights

✅ Future Paywall Support

  • This report is now part of Luminous' modular feature rollout

  • Forecasting (and other upcoming advanced features) can be paywalled

  • Integration with Luminous' CRM allows teams to control access based on customer plans

Projected days until stock runs out

Lead Time

Supplier lead time for reordering

Reorder Point

Suggested threshold for reordering

Order By Date

Date to reorder to prevent stockout

Suggested Order Qty

Recommended quantity to restock

Overstocked

Flag indicating overstock status

Users can filter and sort by any of these columns to identify fast movers, reorder risks, or dead stock.
