Common Trigger
Missing location for the SKU in the selected warehouse.
This can happen if the SKU has never been used in that location or if the location association was deleted.
SKUs without a defined location will not be considered eligible for selection during the assembly process.
Step 1: Check if the SKU Exists in the Location
Go to your Warehouse (for example, Test Warehouse).
Select the General Location (or the location where the SKU should appear).
Search for the SKU:
If the SKU appears, no further action is needed.
If it does not appear, continue to the next step.
💡 Tip: If the SKU has never been in this location, it won’t show up anywhere in the warehouse search.
Step 2: Add the Location to the SKU
Go to SKUs in your system’s main menu.
Find and select the SKU that’s missing from the location.
Open the Adjustment Entry tab.
Add the warehouse location to this SKU.
⚠️ Important: You are not moving any inventory.
This step simply tells the system that the SKU can exist in that location, even if there’s no stock.
Step 3: Confirm the Lot Number
Only applicable if you're product requires lot number, if not you can skip this step 3.
In the Adjustment Entry screen, check the lot number listed.
If there’s only one lot number, that’s likely the correct one.
Add the location to that lot.
Save your changes.
📝 This links the lot and the location — the SKU now “knows” it can exist in that warehouse.
Step 4: Refresh and Verify
Close or exit the Adjustment Entry page.
Go back to your Assembly Order.
Refresh the page.
Search again for your SKU. See that the location slot was already added and updated.
✅ The SKU should now populate correctly in the assembly order or warehouse search.
